The Alaskan King Crab, also known as the Red King Crab or the Kamchatka crab, is a species of king crab native to the far northern Pacific Ocean, the Bering Sea and Gulf of Alaska, and also introduced to the Barents Sea. It grows to a leg span of 1.8m, and is known for it's delicious flavour. The leg meat is known for its rich, sweet taste and delicately tender texture reminiscent of lobster meat, and there’s an undeniable pleasure derived from cracking into a plate of butter-doused king crab legs. This item is blast frozen to preserve its freshness.
