A gift from Mother nature Herself - these are not farmed but are Wild Caught Prawns. Not so small and not so big - just perfect to be fried, curried or fried rice/Biriyani-ed! These Prawns are abundant in and around the coasts of Calicut in Kerala. Folklore in the area has it that the famous explorer Vasco da Gama actually landed in Calicut looking for these prawns to take back to Europe. Not pepper as is commonly chronicled in history (a historic typo from 1498?)

Store under refrigeration at 4°C or below, in hygienic conditions
