Seer Fish / King Fish / Surmai / Neymeen / Vanjaram / ಅಂಜಲ್ (2kg to 5kg) - Steaks

Size of Seer fish slice is too big
I ordered 500g of Seer fish steak. The size was very big with each slice was weighing 250 g. With just two slices 500g was done. One cannot fry those big slices on normal pan. I struggled to cut each slice into 4 pieces. Please make sure the slices are reasonable.

Please add skin out teak option also. I would like to get my order skin out.

Seer fish tasty but steak size is too big
Fish is fresh n tasty n delivered on time.but few suggestion if you cut steaks in to smaller size length wise...though width is ok. And also provide skin out option available.your app should also be enhanced to allow customer to enter text with what he looking for...like as I mentioned skin out,or cut it into smaller size etc...and another suggestion the pack should have label of what we ordered and weight in it.I am happy with the service offered.

Promfret sardine mackarel are out of stock mostof the time.Quality of the fish and service is good.Can add dry fish as well in future.Good attempt.

To make sure we list only fresh products on daily basis, we procure products in small quantities directly from fishermen. We never freeze/stock large quantity of any products as other vendors. So our procurement price is high. On the other hand large wholesalers would end up getting products at much cheaper price because of their bulk order. Most of the local vendors source fish from large wholesalers who usually stock fish during low cost season and release it to market (anytime between 4 days to 6 months) when cost is competitive.

Good Quality
Quality of fish is excellent. I am not visiting any shop now, only freshtohome.
Regarding Seer/Surmai fish, slices are too fat, it will be nice if slices are thin.

Neymeen is very tasty and fresh. If you cook the old fish then the smell will be in house for at least till the next day morning. There was no smell after an hour that shows it is very fresh. I have tried many times from the local market nothing is close to this fresh & tasty. My kid liked it. I feel that the fish jumped directly from the fishing boat to my plate. Thanks to freshtohome.
